Terms of Service
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Z-Image AI, including the zimage-ai.org website, AI Playground, credit system, downloadable assets, and any integrations (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using Z-Image AI you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent.
Account Registration & Security
- Accuracy – You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during signup and to keep your account information updated.
- Credentials – You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Team Workspaces – If you invite collaborators or assign credits, you remain responsible for all actions taken under your workspace.
License & Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for lawful purposes.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service or its components.
- Upload malicious code, attempt to breach security, or overload our infrastructure.
- Input prompts or upload content that infringes the rights of others, contains explicit or illegal material, or violates local regulations.
- Use generated assets for deceptive or defamatory purposes or violate third-party policies (e.g., social platforms).
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Generated Content & Intellectual Property
- Your Prompts & Uploads – You retain ownership of prompts, reference images, and other assets you upload. You grant us a license to process them for the sole purpose of delivering the Service.
- AI Outputs – Subject to third-party model policies, you receive the rights to use generated images for commercial or non-commercial projects. You are responsible for ensuring that usage complies with applicable laws, platform rules, and ethical guidelines.
- Platform IP – All software, branding, and documentation of Z-Image AI remain the property of zimage-ai.org. You may not copy or distribute them without permission.
Credits, Plans & Payments
- Each image generation consumes credits as displayed in the Playground. Credits are deducted when a generation request is submitted, regardless of the result.
- Credits may be obtained through free allocations, promotional events, or paid packages. Free credits may expire; purchased credits follow the terms presented at checkout.
- All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout. Taxes may apply.
- Payments are processed via third-party providers. By purchasing, you authorize us and the processor to charge your selected method.
- Unless stated otherwise, all purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
Third-Party Integrations
The Service relies on partners (e.g., KIE) to process prompts and deliver generated files. By using the Playground, you authorize us to share the necessary prompt data with these partners. Their outputs are subject to their own acceptable-use rules, which you must follow.
Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service online at all times but may interrupt or limit access for maintenance, updates, or force majeure events. We are not liable for downtime, delays, or data loss resulting from such events.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:
- You violate these Terms or applicable laws.
- We detect fraudulent or abusive behavior.
- Required by legal order.
You may also delete your account at any time. Some data (e.g., invoices, audit logs) may be retained as required by law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties about uptime, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or unexpected results; you use it at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, zimage-ai.org and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless zimage-ai.org, its officers, directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, use of the Service, or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which zimage-ai.org operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will first be attempted to resolve amicably. If unresolved, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts in that jurisdiction, unless another process is required by local law.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. The “created_at” field in the front matter represents the effective date. When material changes occur, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
